PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The NEW SOFT SHELL Rifle Cover was designed to be a lightweight, highly water resistant and still breathable while being as durable as possible. Built with 89% nylon and 11% spandex, it breathes and stretches well. With a DWR treatment rains, morning dew or snow won't slow you down as you're headed out to hunt.

I am getting a bit older and not thrashing around in the really thick timber, but still chase bighorn sheep in the mountains as well as other local animals. I found the RUGGED - Ultimate Rifle Cover (10 oz) an exceptional piece of kit. I purchased three of them and one was for a local hunting buddy. I purchased this item to protect the rifles while on safari in S. Africa. They can take a beating in the Land Cruiser. I believe this will do the job without being too bulky.

The latest Heavy Duty version

The new material and way of construction appears to be more durable than the previous incarnation which ripped out at the butt area. The overall size has changed so be aware of that, no longer does it fit short guns as snuggly as it did before. For longer scoped rifles it is ideal! I would love to see a shorter carbine length version created as I know, it would be a popular seller.
As for Customer Service, these guys are top! “Thank you for giving us the chance to make it right“ this is what I got from the rep when I called in about my light weight rifle cover that had ripped out after only going to the range a few times. Hard to beat integrity like that.
