20000 MAH SOLAR POWER BANK & CHARGER...

Last light has recently released their new solar bank charger and let me say this thing packs a punch. With almost double to charging capabilities from it’s competitors this power bank set out to accomplish one major thing….more power.

I set out to test the products capabilities for several main functions that I could apply specifically to hunting. Last Light heavily promotes this product to function while cutting up an animal on the mountain. The bank is a little on the heavy side so I am not sure if it would be something I would take on 3 day+ backcountry trip. However you tough guys out there would have no problem hefting it around. In any other scenario however I will be bring this thing along. There are so many different applications for something like this, I have shot so many animals at dusk and can think of a dozen scenarios where I could use the Power Bank for lighting or charging devices. The LED Light Rope that comes in the bundle pack is a great addition and really adds that extra light one may need to perform certain outdoor activities. How many of you have put up a tent in the dark? headlamps and flashlights only go so far.

The housing is made up of a thermoplastic polymer and seems very durable. I can’t wait to get it in the field on a regular basis and test the capabilities. I will make sure to update my findings as I test more thoroughly.

I have been charging my devices on the data bank since last Friday.

Charging findings so far:

Phone – Charged 5 times

Tablet: Charged 3 times

E-mount Charger – Charged 4 Batteries

I am still at 25% Battery life on my charging bank without using the solar panel, not to mention the number of times I have been playing with the LED Light Rope and light on the unit itself. Last Light states that the Solar Panel should be used to extend the battery life and not use it as a main power source so I am curious to see what kind of extension on the battery I get. I will be engaging the panel tomorrow and will update my findings later next week.
